George and Char met in church during

the Jesus movement of the late 1960s and

early 1970s. Both, utterly captivated by

Jesus and the love and life he poured into

their lives; soon found themselves living

in a communal setting in the basement of

a church reaching out to others with

Jesus’ radical love and grace.

They have not stopped loving and sharing

Jesus from that day on. Along the way,

two exceptional children and nine

extraordinary grandchildren were added

to their lives. Today, they have the

privilege of serving along side others with

God’s transforming love in Amador

County.

Lance Houck

Worship Leader/Tech

Lance grew up in Pine Grove, CA and

was blessed by Pastor George’s words

from an early age. He feels incredibly

blessed to have been given the gift of

music. His greatest desire is that the

Lord would be able to use that gift to

serve others and to bring Glory to His

holy name.

Lance also writes his own original music

and is planning on releasing an album of

worship songs in the future.
